General notes and information on the Association

The Friends' Association of the Scientific Collection of Defence Engineering Specimens (Verein der Freunde und Förderer der Wehrtechnischen Studiensammlung Koblenz e.V.) pursues the goal of familiarising the public with the important role which defence technology plays in the framework of national defence. In this context, the Association intends to support the work carried out by the Scientific Collection of Defence Engineering Specimens by means of publications, presentations, material and non-material assistance. In this way we would like to extend the range of visitors to include not only Bundeswehr personnel but also individuals and private institutions with an interest in research and education in this field. The Association pursues public-benefit purposes in the sense of § 52 of the German Fiscal Code (Abgabenordnung) and exclusively serves to promote the Scientific Collection of Defence Engineering Specimens; it does not intend to make profit for its own. .
